Whiskybase is the largest whisky database in the world, it has over a 220.000 bottles on record. With more than 2.4 million ratings and reviews, it is the perfect app to use on your whisky journey. Use the label or barcode scanner to find the right bottle. Read reviews, compare scores and find the right shop to buy your whisky.

In our community of whisky lovers, thousands of new ratings and reviews are added daily. Shoplinks are checked and new whiskybase bottles are submitted by our members. With this new app you can:
- Browse through our inventory of 220.000 whiskies
- Scan a barcode or label to instantly receive detailed information
- Read reviews by fellow whisky drinkers
- View top 10 whiskies based on price, taste or scores

The Whiskybase app gives you access to the largest database of whisky bottles. Ranging from rare, one of a kind whisky bottles to standard releases like the Macallan 12, Ardbeg 10 or Glenfiddich 12, and everything in between. Independent whisky bottlers or Japanese whiskies: we have them all. Are you more into bourbon? With the help of our bourbon lovers, we are rapidly expanding the bourbon section.

Ratings and reviews

Hey guys. Nice first version! But you are still missing some basic stuff for everyday use. The textual search is kinda broken. It hangs often. I have to keep going back and forth and retry searching. Management of the wishlist and collection is lacking when compared to the website. For example, removing a bottle from the wishlist or collection, etc etc. For all of this, I keep having to go back using the website instead of the app 😥

I used it the first 10 minutes with heart-shaped eyes. Superfast and straight to the point, connected to the biggest whisky DB. Then I tried to post a review: unable to send review. I tried to add a photo to the profile: failed. I tried to look at the list of my reviews: it's not there. This looks like an unfinished app where a developer tries to guess the undocumented APIs of a backend.

Unable to sign up, will not let me past entering my name and selecting country.. so it's pretty useless if you can't create a profile
