Ratings and reviews

Missing ingredients in the custom recipes. I've been using barback for years now and I genuinely appreciate it's utility. But recently I've been trying to add my own recipes and I've run into the issue that the drink recipe builder doesn't have some ingredients (like egg - white) or processes (like dry shaking) in the list. I don't know if it is intentional, but it is really annoying. So they lost a star for it.

This is the best cocktail app I have found (out of over a dozen). Easy inventory/substitution mgmt & clear recipes. Most other apps have too many special ingredients (e.g. list both brandy and specific brands). Would be 5 star if: - specified ideal brands for cocktails (why is Sazerac not listed for THE Sazerac?) - allowed saving personal recipes - allowed searching for recipes by ingredient - had separate favorites and to-try lists - had better pictures for each cocktail

This app satisfies all of my home mixology needs. I'm a super data driven guy and all the drink details, charts, and organization really work for me. The removal of brand names is also really helpful, because I'm sick of recipes advocating for some special expensive italian rum or something. I keep my bar pretty stocked, and the substitution feature makes it so I can create even more than usual. And all the drinks are crazy tasty 🥴
