Just a bad app and website, you can set up multiple filters only for auto trader to dump promoted cars into the list, it's not even a handful they pile a LOT of irrelevant cars into the search, even if they are double the price of the set filter. The search is also absolutely cluttered with "cinch" etc if you search by distance, even though they aren't anywhere near, it's an absolute shambles.

I used to think this was a 5 star app. It would be apart from 2 incredibly annoying things. 1: If I select a 40 mile radius, DO NOT show me results outside that radius. This used to be how it worked, bar the odd obviously highlighted advert from the dark side of the moon. Now it's every other ad and I have to click through and check the location first. 2: I don't want to be asked to turn on notifications every time I start the app. I said no once, that's the end of it.

Used Auto trader for last 35 years, paper and online forms. Couple of really annoying issues, first when I want a specific search using keywords ie Bose or any other options unscrupulous companies like Dace German Car Centre always has lots of cars come up, none of which have that option! Makes the keyword search obsolutely useless. Also when I search for a specific car I do not want 'you maybe interested in' if I was I would search for it!! Closing my account.
