This is especially apparent in the 'free trial' aspect of this app- none of the self-care elements are behind a paywall, and they have an entire system for people to donate full copies of the game to those in financial need. Ratings and reviews

Having played this for a few days, I'm enjoying it. Something about the specific wording and vibe from the mindfulness practices feels more approachable than what I find on YouTube. I also use it to keep on top of my to do list at work, by sending Amaru out to explore for however long I think a task will take, and then seeing if I can complete it before they return. It's not a substitute for therapy and medical care, but I've found it very helpful in building better habits in an intentional way.

I love this app. It allows me to have a few minutes out of my day to have something to focus, and relax to. But I do have a small suggestion for the developers. I think it would be cool if there was a widget add on to add to home screens. I have other apps like this one for self care goals, that have widgets, and having it always be on my home screen helps me remember to do my goals and stuff. Just a small suggestion that's I think would be a nice touch to the app. Overall, great, helpful app.

This app has kept me more motivated to keep up with self care for my mental health than anything else. That said, I'd love to see some improvements like more direct interactions with Amaru and more idle animations for him. The biggest improvement would be fixing texting on here. It's so bad I actually switch to a separate journal app to journal there and then copy and paste that into Amaru. My other issue is I lost my streak today even though I only missed a day and I am pretty sad about it.
