How does the Promova Premium work:

We offer monthly, 6-month, and annual subscription plans for learning languages. Currently, a 7-day free trial is available for an annual Premium subscription only. If you are happy with Promova's features, after this period, you will be automatically charged the full price of the chosen Premium plan, which was indicated on a payment screen during checkout. Alternatively, if you are pretty sure you will need less time to boost your language skills, you could choose a monthly or half-yearly subscription.

If you want to cancel the free trial or your current Premium subscription, please make sure to do this at least 24 hours before the end of the current payment period. Otherwise, you will automatically be charged a price according to a chosen Premium plan. To manage your subscription, please go to the Account Settings. Please keep in mind that deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

When a subscription is canceled, access to the courses and features will expire at the end of the current payment period.

Ratings and reviews

Extremely aggressive upselling. They quietly sold me a completely useless PDF for 10 euros without clear notice. I don't want to use a product where I can't feel safe. They take advantage of my focus on language learning for sneaky, small-scale pickpocketing. Would you like a few more alternative versions depending on the tone you want — for example, more formal, sharper, or slightly softer?

This is the best language learning app that I have tried! (And I have tried several.) The spoken prompts feel more like natural French speakers and the modules are very practical. I speak a little French but have no confidence in putting together sentences and my pronunciation. The way the lessons are organized, I am gaining confidence. I love it.

Opened app to be bombarded with subscription ads, close that and get hit with a special promo for their subscription. I haven't even used the product yet, give it at least a minute. After using it for a little, the content is fine. Although I disagree with the subscription price, it might be fine for someone learning a supported language. I was hoping to learn traditional Chinese and that's not (as of now) currently supported.

What’s new

Hey!

New American Sign Language lessons just dropped! Talk about family (hi, mom), feelings (excited, tired, bored), pets (are you a dog or cat person?), and numbers from 0 to 10. Now you can say “I’m learning ASL!” like a pro.

Plus, AI avatar videos are here in the General English course, based on popular Common Mistakes lessons. Learn when to use lay or lie, say I’m 30 years old (not I have 30 years old), and I can swim very well (not I can to swim).
