Bartlett Instrument Co. is major supplier of kiln temperature controllers to manufacturers providing pottery kilns to schools and individual potters. The latest line of controllers communicates with our website where customers can sign up for a free account and claim their kiln thru a combination of mac address and serial number. Once the account is set up, Bartlett KilnAid will allow customers to view the current temperature and status of their kilns.

2nd Update: works for what it does, but not terribly useful. - It logs total number of firings, but no record of dates or firing type. - it notifies at end of firing, but not segment, nor at a specific temp (safe to open). -It collects the information from each firing, but clears it so there is no way to export and store it, or compare to previous. Subscribed because I appreciate that this is a WIP. I'll it a year to see if I use it more than i think i will.

considering I'm using this app to monitor a dangerous appliance connected to a device I paid $1,300 for, I expect more from an app. (And paying subscription!) This app looks like a one-off programming contract that was never revisited. as a consumer I grow weary of being sold minimum viable product. please get user feedback on all the dead ends, non-intuitive / non-understandable pathways, and poor representation of data. then polish this Ux into quality, and I'll give you a 5.

Such a disappointment. I just spent over 300 to replace on a new controlled, with wifi capability, and they want me to pay to subscribe to access the functionality of the controlled on the phone. I am not subscribing to a product I already bought, to use functionality that is built in. Super disappointing. Won't buy another controller from them for this reason alone. This functionality should be included. And at one point I believe it was, but they wanted to milk their constomers. Boooo
