Terrible almost never works when casting to Google TV. But some how the adverts always work, it then just fails to show you the program you wanted. Edit: tried what the dev suggested and uninstalled then re-installed. worked for 1 episode on downstairs TV. but then failed again later on upstairs TV. Reinstalling everytime i want to watch a programme is not exactly a great fix. For clarity my wife has the same issue and we also get the same issue when using the channel 4 app in sky Q.

Awful. I'm using a Chromecast TV stick and all the other streaming services work fine, but Channel 4 has now decided it will play the adverts but then as soon as the show is meant to start I get the error "a playback error occurred, re-cast to try again". Tried recasting. Restarting the Chromecast. Restarting the router. Casting from 2 different phones with 2 different accounts. Literally useless.

Update: deducting a star, app now won't cast programmes to Google TV at all, giving a casting error just as the ads finish. It streams the ads ok, just not the content. Mocking it's users! This has got to be one of the worst streaming apps/services out there. Endless adverts, forgets your position in programmes, fast forwarding takes you into more ads. Flaky casting won't let you watch live shows. No app for Google TV unlike most other streaming services. In summary a total pain to use.
