I've been using the xbox app which has worked fine....but I decided to give this app a try since it can get 1080p. However, I can hardly connect to the xbox with this app. When I am able to connect, the lag makes the game unplayable. I'm using a s23 ultra with a backbone controller. I'll move my rating back up if issues ever get resolved.

Try to set the video output of your Xbox to 1080p and not 4k as this can lead to a lot of problems (bug on the Xbox end). You can also try to activate the fast rendering engine in the streaming settings. Maybe it works better then.

Worth every cent! Being a parent, I often play on my Logitech G Cloud when the kids are watching their shows on the main TV that my Series X is connected to. Being able to remote play in 1080p is worth the price of admission alone, as it looks SO much better than the 720p that the official Xbox app displays in (which is my biggest gripe with the official app). This app also does a better job of remotely waking my console. With the official app, I usually have to manually turn on the XBSX. 5 ⭐

Not quite as good as the Playstation equivalent (PSPlay, which is great!). Here, I've experienced regular lag and connection issues. I'm only able to connect via WIFI, and can't connect via my mobile network, which defeats much of the purpose. The resolution settings available on PSPlay, which help with lag, are unavailable in XBXPlay. When it works, it's nice, but I don't know if it's enough to make switching from the official Xbox remote play app, or Gamepass/Xcloud apps worth it at the moment

Hi, thanks for your feedback. The lack of settings which are present in PSPlay is simply because the Xbox remote play protocol does support far less then the PS remote play, so in other words the Xbox doesn't support it. The official app only streams in 720p and doesn't support backwards compatible titles.
