It's weird to play a game that fixes itself for you to never win. One might think, 'yeah, but space is tough.' If you wanted to make it realistic, you could've just made another game, since we're NOT in spaceships exploring the universe. Other than being basically unwinnable, it's well made.

Would've been 100% because I really like the idea of the game and all the thought that went into the different encounters and aliens and worlds.... But man, it's a real bummer how ruthlessly luck-based it is. Somehow I'm dying faster in Easy mode than Normal. Wish there was a way to accumulate progress so each death doesn't feel like a total waste. I'd love to progress further in the game's story but as of now it seems impossible. Way too unforgiving.

I love roguelikes, etc, so I expect frequent deaths, but even with that, it seems like you need a frustratingly specific run to succeed. I'm open to the idea that I need to be better at the game, but while this is a technically sound game, totally worth trying, my losses felt unfair, in a way I learned nothing from, instead of "oh ok, if I do x better, it won't happen again." 100% try, 40% keep.
