It can be used to translate work documents such as contracts, social media, news, chats with your friends, comics and novels, text in mobile games, movie subtitles, and much more... With Bubble Screen Translate, you can translate text on almost all apps, including popular apps such as Instagram, Facebook, X, Reddit, Quora, etc. You can translate while browsing without copying text or switching back and forth with the translation app. It also supports offline translation mode to help you save data usage.

Key Features

Standard Translation Mode: This mode is suitable for translating text on apps, whether it's a Google News story, an Instagram post, a chat you're having with a friend on WhatsApp, a menu of Japanese food, a website in Spanish, it can be instantly translated into your native language so you can read it smoothly.

Comic Translation Mode: This mode is designed for manga lovers. The vertical text mode is more suitable for translating Japanese comics where the text is read from top to bottom, while the horizontal text mode is more suitable for translating comics where the text is read from left to right, such as Chinese, Korean, and English.

Movie Translation Mode: Turn on this mode when watching movies or TV with subtitles, Bubble Screen Translate will automatically translate each subtitle for you and display it above the screen without pausing, giving you a smooth viewing experience.

Document Translation: Bubble Screen Translate allows users to upload docx or pdf files for translation while preserving the original formatting. It supports side-by-side comparison of the original and translated text, and users can save the translated result as a new pdf file.

Offline Translation Mode: Download the language packs you need in advance, even when there's no network, it doesn't affect the translation, and you can also save data usage.

Fullscreen Translate: Translate all text on the current phone screen, including text on pictures.

Partial Translate: Only the text in the area you select will be translated.

Auto Translate: After turning on this mode, Bubbble Screen Translate will automatically translate the text in the area you select without any further operation. You can start and pause auto translation at any time.

Ratings and reviews

It's just okay. The translations literally change even when used on the exact same content, especially if you experiment with different translation modes. It was incredibly inaccurate for me, with results such as, "sea urchin sea urchin one five death you" one moment then a completely new sentence when translated again. I would for the PRO version if these weren't the kind of results I was getting because it's nice to have a translator to not need screenshots, but I can't support it as is.

Great translations! It translated most things on my screen relatively quickly, but it has glitched a few times and shown me black boxes instead of text. I'm not sure how the ads work yet, they pop up kind of randomly but they are thankfully short. Edit: brought down to three stars because of the abundance of ads. It would be nice if it would only do one ad every 15 minutes or something, because it is very disruptive when I'm trying to translate game dialogue.

Really great app overall, probably the best I've used for its' purpose. Some of the features include translating both raw and image text, ripping text from an image, and making presets based on common content. Some missing features: allow users to choose a specific translator (even if it means providing an API key), and some "heads up" when translating a language that is normally written vertically (users may not know they need to manually change the text orientation for some languages).
