Panhandle CU’s free mobile app allows you to securely manage your money anytime, anywhere from your mobile device. With just a few clicks on your mobile phone or tablet, you can get a quick, Instant Balance without logging in. Once you log in to the app, you can:

The app stinks when making mobile deposits. It quickly takes pictures of the front of the check. The back of the check takes forever, even when endorsed in bold black ink. The "hold still and wait" status bar is there for literally minutes. You have to go out and come back in multiple times. Sometimes it finally works. Often we give up and deposit funds in a different bank because it is easier.

Nice, but two concerns.... 1) cannot use my thumb print in place of password when performing an internal transfer, 2) I cannot put a memo on my internal transfer. I can do both of these using my OcalaCCU App. Catch Up! 07/15/2023 update: biometric thumb print works now, but keeping 4 Stars as credit score alerts are too often and annoying.

Original review date (4/2/2022): app would be incredible if you didn't have to use your password to make internal transfers or loan payments. 6/3/2023 Update: Rating remains. Mobile applications are designed for convenience. I can appreciate the importance of security but again, I fail to see the importance of requiring a password for internal transfers. This is the only institution I've banked with that has this requirement.
