Let us track your favourite artists and send you notification alerts when they release new music on Spotify, or when we discover any upcoming releases for them!

To set up a new account, just hit the Sign Up button, follow the instructions and then login to your Spotify account. We will scan for the artists that you follow. A list of the latest new releases will then be available in the app. If we find any upcoming releases for them we will also display these in the app.

If you've enabled push notifications then we'll notify you when we find new and upcoming releases for your artists.

New music releases are by default added to a playlist which we create within your Spotify account so that you have one easy place to listen to new music. You can change this option at any time from the Settings screen.

We sync the artists you follow on Spotify before we check for new releases, so if you have followed new artists then they'll get included when we scan for new releases.

Please note: you cannot listen to the releases within the app - you do this within Spotify as usual.

This has been THE premier release finder app for me for quite a few months. Want to be on the up-and-up for new music on Spotify? Crabhands has your back. It's UI is intuitive and easy to navigate and you even can get the releases in a playlist on your spotify account. Unfortunately, about a month ago it just stopped working for me. It says it syncs my artists but has stopped saying that there are any releases! Well, it turned out that I had literally turned off very notifications that I was wanting. The developer didn't respond immediately but did eventually get around to my email about my issue. In the end, Crabhands is amazing. Powerful and reliable, just... don't turn off the notifications and you'll be gravy!

AN absolutely incredible app to use in order to track new releases from artists you like. It connects using Spotify, and updates you on the releases based on that. DO NOT use Facebook to sign into Spotify in this app. It leaves you unable to log in and get your updates at all. Otherwise; I've used this app for about half a decade if not longer, and haven't come across any other issues. Good stuff.

I really like the idea of this app. But no matter what I do, I can't get the app to generate a playlist on Spotify for new releases. That was the main reason I got it in the first place. I have tried reinstalling, deleting and recreating the playlist, clearing the cache, and other things. I've waited for 3 days hoping the playlist would populate, but it never did. If this issue is fixed I would love to give 5 stars, but I can't in good faith do that when a main app feature does not work.
