I did end up getting a refund from the Oniri team. Thanks. I've gotta say that the app idea is good. There's things I wished were a bit different, mainly: 1) Writing down a dream feels like a long chore, especially for entry level users. Given that it's the first thing you do when you wake up, brain power at those hours is low. 2) Put more thought into the dream goals feauture. I haven't seen it anywhere else, but it needs more care. Just a disappearing list that could be much better

Do not buy. Does not work. I originally got this on OIS but wanted it on my phone. When it works I love it. It has all the features I like including image and export options. Unfortunately two weeks after I purchased a year subscription they had an update that killed the app. It won't even open. Reinstall doesn't help. I contacted the developer and they said it would be fixed in 24 hours. It's been weeks and it still doesn't work. Design was awesome, problem resolution sucks.

Great app for recording dreams, I love that it promotes lucid dreaming, BUT! The app backs up nothing, so if you log out or another error occurs for seemingly no reason, all of your entries may be deleted as mine were - two months' worth of detailed entries. The help center says if this occurs out the blue then it's a server issue and will be restored in time. For me, still nothing's been restored two months later. I recommend using a journalling app with backups instead, such as Moodpress.
