I used to love it, but for some reason half the game is completely broken now. Achievements only work half the time, my character is often refered to as something like "$player," a bunch of the stats don't view and the formatting everywhere is busted. I would LOVE to see this game remade, or perhaps see a sequel made, because the story and gameplay aspects are still amazing.

The story was ok, it was just nowhere near as good as the grand tournament plotline. The story was short, and the game railroaded you early on, forcing you to go either full militancy or full diplomacy, as the game made sure that anything else would get you killed. You didn't really have many options. Some of the options you did have were also locked for some reason. The tactics were rather lacking, and were often reduced to charging the enemy head on while taking pot shots with archers and mages. Also you're pretty much doomed to fail the election halfway in unless you stat in exactly the right way, as I said, if you want to do well and not die, you don't have many options and are essentially railroaded.

I enjoy the game. Does something I haven't seen in a while, but is also a bit simple. A good way to spend time. Though to those who say they never have enough Numbers to fight early game enemies, I have a little solution. When you are gathering your troops you can ask the Capital for some men, do that and go to the next page where it shows you your number of troops. But click the option to go back, then go back to the troop number page again. And your numbers have increased.
