Start your free trial and get up to 3GB FREE as our AI-powered forecaster learns your data usage. Get phone service for as low as $4.08/mo.

What you’ll need to start:
A fully paid-for and compatible device, unlocked from any other carrier
A valid payment method, such as a credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay
A physical MobileX SIM card if your device is not eSIM compatible (you’ll be able to order a MobileX SIM Card Starter Kit directly from within our app)
How it works:
Once you complete the activation process, you’ll be able to select our Personalized Access, putting you into a free 10-day learning period
While you live, we learn. Use your device just as you normally would and our AI-guided Data Forecaster will review your usage behavior and provide a personalized plan so you only pay for what you use, never for what you don’t
You can load what the app recommends, or any amount you choose—you’re in control
If you prefer a more traditional plan, we’ve got those too. Choose from one of our Basic Unlimited plans, as good—or better—than anything out there today
Whatever you choose, our AI tool will continue to monitor your data use and will let you know if a change of plan can save you money

I just switched to MobileX and the customer service is outstanding. They are extremely responsive, helpful and articulate (super clear) when they correspond with you. They even sent me a complementary SIM. I used this App to create a new account and provision service. It was seamless, no problems whatsoever. The cellular service itself is excellent: High speed SpeedTests, high quality voice. I highly recommend the service.

This app must be very power hungry. It crashes no matter what I do. I removed all unnecessary apps. I cleaned out all the items that were using memory or were running in the background. If the only way to sign up for cell service and the MobileX app crashes on startup, I guess I'm SOL. Sorry Out of Luck. Poor business model to depend solely on a power hungry app!

Hi Clark. Sorry you were having issues with signing up with MobileX. We haven't encountered any similar app crashing issues so far, so this one is hard for us to address. If you have a different phone you'd like to try us on, we'd love for you to give us another try :)

Just terribly buggy currently. If MobileX had the option to manage your account from their website, like normal providers, then it wouldn't be a big deal if their app is buggy. Can't even contact support at times because it throws an error saying "Well... That's not supposed to happen", without even giving so much as an error code.

We apologize for your experience. MobileX, launched as the first app-based wireless company, and now we're actively working on enabling website account management. In the meantime, if you face issues during activation, return to the app home screen, and click the XpertCare icon to request assistance.
