The UI is arguably worse than the free version, like with the pinyin/English disambiguation button being an entire sentence, and dark mode is way too dark (the free version's dark grey is perfect) Anki export feature works very well, particularly well done to those who worked on it. This would still be a 5/5 dictionary in a vacuum, but the flaws compared to the free version are surprising. Edit: thanks for the reply, I understand your design choices better now.
Thank you for your review. This is the first time I've heard of either of those issues. The old pinyin/english button was a problem because it was easily missed and also it was confusing: state vs. action. All of the previous dark theme complaints we've had has been that it isn't dark enough! Please email me. Kind regards, Mark support@hanping.app

Your app has always been my favorite and I used this for almost 10 years every day. But then you suddenly decided to delete the Cantonese Jyutping from the results. I have no idea why you made this choice, but you lost a long-time user. Such a simple feature was so important for me and made me love this app. It will be difficult to delete this app, but I think I can find better ones that still offer Cantonese Jyutping. 😢
Hi Erik. Thank you for your review. This is the Mandarin app and so has never included Cantonese Jyutping romanisation. Jyutping is in our Cantonese app as it always has been. Nothing has changed. Please email me to discuss further. Kind regards, Mark support@hanping.app
