I might be tempted to let my kid do the island pass. But honestly, it locks up every time I open it, I've had the app for less than a week and I already gotten over a dozen prompts begging me to spend a combined total of $120 on upgrades, and I'm a little offended by their methodology. Get it into the classroom, dangle extras in front of my kid in CLASS, so he begs me for the upgrade through push notifications. That's just disgusting. Makes me want to homeschool.

Money Greed. So my child and I are forced on to this app because its a new thing for her grade level. I personally dislike it. Its subscription based in many tiers. We got access through school (or subscription), but in order for my child to play or do certain things a subscription is required to play or access some parts of Dojo Islands. I receive daily notifications to purchase a subscription. Also when you get a notification and click on it the app wont recognize it so its still has issues

I get businesses want a paid app but exporting an event to the calendar should not be behind a pay wall. It's convenient to be able to export but not pay worthy, it's not some novel concept. I just do 3 clicks in calendar and I've Done it myself. And thw amount being charged, damn, I don't see the added benefit.
