📵 APP BLOCKER — USES THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE API
Block distracting apps (like social media or games) while a focus session is
running. If you open a blocked app during a session, StudyTrack sends you back
to your home screen so you can get back to studying.
• The App Blocker is optional and off by default
• It uses Android's AccessibilityService API only to detect which app comes to
the front of your screen while a session is running, so it can block the apps
you chose
• It cannot read, see, or record anything on your screen — no text, messages,
passwords, or what you type
• Nothing it accesses is stored or sent anywhere; it all stays on your device
• You must turn on "StudyTrack App Blocker" yourself in Android's Accessibility
settings, and you can turn it off there at any time
• StudyTrack is not an accessibility tool for people with disabilities; the API
is used only for the App Blocker described above
