Ploi is a plant care tracker for people who want to remember what they did and when. Log every watering, build a care history for each plant, and let Ploi learn your routine instead of following a generic schedule.

Watering reminders that learn

No app can tell you exactly how often to water your plants: it depends on light, humidity, pot size and season. So Ploi learns instead of guessing. Log a watering, and Ploi picks up your real rhythm and moves the next reminder to match. The more you log, the better the reminders fit.

Your plants on the home screen

Add the Ploi widget to your home screen in one of three sizes and see what needs care without opening the app. It shows what is overdue and what is due today, the weather where your plants live, and a count of the plants that are already happy. Tap a plant and it opens. Under Settings you choose what the widget shows and write your own message for the days when everything is done.

A journal for every plant

Every watering, feeding, repotting and note goes into that plant's own timeline, and you can scroll back through it any time. Weeks later you can see exactly when you last fertilized, how long the plant went without water, or the day a new leaf appeared. It is a care log and a plant diary in one.

Growth photos over time

Add a photo to any log entry and watch your plant's story come together. A fiddle leaf fig, a monstera, a snake plant or a peace lily all look different six months on, and Ploi keeps every photo so you can see the change for yourself.

Care guides by species

Ploi includes care guides for individual plant species, covering watering, light, soil and humidity. Look up what your plant needs instead of relying on a generic houseplant article.

Plant identification

Not sure what you have? Take a photo and Ploi identifies the species, then starts a care log for it. Most people start with identification — but what Ploi is really for is everything you record afterwards.

Wishlist and rooms

Keep a wishlist of plants you want, and group the ones you own by room or windowsill, so you can water everything in one trip around the house.

I DLed this a while ago. As it's summer, most of my plants are outside - but I quickly filled up 20 slots. Well, I went to add one today and discovered that 20 is the max for the free version. As it's a quality app, how $much$... Turns out he built the app to run off his personal server (is he collecting and selling our data?) and feels that $60 a year is a fair price for any amount over 20 plants (have you heard of tiered pricing?). I don't need your server, dude, just a reminder. toodles

So, I have had this app for about 6 months. It is the ONLY reason my plants are alive! I've had a couple of small issues, and OMG, is there customer service amazing! Seriously, I wish everyone cared this much about their products! Great app, not just a watering reminder....fertilizer, repotting, moving location, everything!

I love love love this app. It helps me keep track of all my plants watering schedules. I love that it has a photo album to track progress. I love that it shows how frequently you have been watering your plants, and uses that to average out when you should probably water your plant next; or that you can push back the reminder date if it doesn't align to when you water. Love it. Exactly what I need.
