It's useful for remembering when to water plants, which soil and pots are best for the plants, and I was able to use the community section to get help for one of my plants. The identification system seems to work pretty well (I'm not into botany so I can't say for sure). I don't understand why there is a point system, or why it has social media aspects. The free trial thing is also pretty sneaky, it just sends an email once the week is up.

my plants have never been happier. plants that havent grown in years are finally growing new shoots and leaves. the reminders are incredible and the suggested watering amounts have been a game changer for me. I love that you can track your plants journey as well. its exciting to look back and see how much has changed since the first picture- how much happier the plants genuinely are. The yearly subscription fee (a reasonable fee at the time of this review) is well worth the money to me.

You cannot manually add plants and you can only add them by photographing them. That's great if you have a mystery plant but sometimes this app doesn't get anywhere close to what I have on the tags of my plants. I want to add them to my plant library but if I can only photograph it and nothing matches it's really frustrating so I just don't add the plant to the digital collection. You also can't go back and find the original plant care it tells you about when you first add the plant.
