It's useful for remembering when to water plants, which soil and pots are best for the plants, and I was able to use the community section to get help for one of my plants. The identification system seems to work pretty well (I'm not into botany so I can't say for sure). I don't understand why there is a point system, or why it has social media aspects. The free trial thing is also pretty sneaky, it just sends an email once the week is up.

I want to love it, but honestly after a few months of use I'm not happy with it. 1. The shop... I've been a member for months and still cannot access your shop feature. 2. Plants ID sucks. For things I don't know I use Google and then type them into Greg. Pretty much any green and white plant will come up as a pothos even when it's entirely different. 3. It does not give accurate watering reminders or amounts. At this point, if the app says 4oz, I do 2oz.

okay if you need a reminder app, not great for much else. I purchased the premium subscription to be able to scan plants but its only accurate about 50% of the time, and if youre not familiar with what plant you actually have its easy to choose the wrong one which will influence the instructions it provides. I do like that the watering reminders are intuitive, meaning if you water your plant more often (and log it when you do) the app will adjust but this could lead to overwatering
