It's useful for remembering when to water plants, which soil and pots are best for the plants, and I was able to use the community section to get help for one of my plants. The identification system seems to work pretty well (I'm not into botany so I can't say for sure). I don't understand why there is a point system, or why it has social media aspects. The free trial thing is also pretty sneaky, it just sends an email once the week is up.

the app is good and does what it is supposed to, identify plants and tell you how often to water them. Yet, even after all that in order to get notification reminders I need to get premium. You're better off setting your own timer every two weeks on the calendar. I take care of succulents, take my advice in that context. Most plants don't appreciate being dehydrated for more than a week.

I really REALLY want to love this app. It's amazing for the most part but some things really take away from the experience, and I'd love to see the company consider making these changes... 1. I'd love to see options for plants you're currently propagating so the app doesn't think it's time to water but instead it could remind me to change the water, amongst other details 2. It glitches out when adding a new plant. When I enter in new details, the photo/other details will go back to default.
