Undertone is a color study tool for painters, photographers, interior designers, and game developers. Take a photo or import one from your library. In seconds, you see the palette, harmony, temperature, and value structure underneath. All processing happens on your device. Your images never leave it.

PALETTE WITH PROPORTIONS
Not flat swatches. Undertone shows dominant colors by actual weight in the image. A 60% warm neutral with a 5% cool accent is a different color palette than 50/50. Every color labeled with hex codes and real pigment names. Yellow Ochre, not "Autumn Sunset Dream."

COLOR HARMONY
The relationship between your colors, identified and named. Complementary, analogous, triadic, split-complementary, tetradic, square, monochromatic. Or honestly, none. Not every image has a clean color harmony, and Undertone won't pretend. Colors plotted on a color wheel so you see the geometry.

TEMPERATURE MAP
A warm-cool overlay on your image that makes the invisible visible. Muddy shadows are almost always a temperature problem. Warm paint leaking into your cools. Toggle the temperature map on and the thing you couldn't diagnose becomes obvious. This is the feature that makes Undertone different from every color picker on the market.

VALUE STRUCTURE
Your image stripped to grayscale, divided into clear zones: light, mid-tone, dark. Value does more work than color. A painting with strong values and wrong color still reads. A painting with perfect color and weak values is mud. This automates the painter's squint.

YOUR COLOR LIBRARY
Every color analysis is saved to your history. No folders, no tags. A simple timeline you scroll. Revisit a master painting analysis. Pull up the mood board from last week. Your phone becomes a personal color reference library.
