The brush carries a charge of paint that depletes as you drag, picks up wet color already on the canvas, and responds to pressure and speed.

NINE MEDIUMS
Oil drags and blends. Watercolor goes translucent and blooms at the edges. Charcoal, chalk, and pastel catch the grain of the paper. Ink stays crisp. Airbrush lays soft gradients, blending stumps move paint without adding any, and a basic medium covers quick sketching.

BRUSHES AND PAPER
Over twenty brush tips across the nine mediums. Twelve paper textures the paint actually catches on: smooth, hot-press watercolor, cold-press watercolor, rough watercolor, canvas weave, toned tan, toned grey, kraft, blueprint, and three premium master papers: black pastel ground, laid Ingres, and terracotta.

STUDY VIEWS
Four ways to read your own work while you paint. Value study strips the canvas to grayscale so you can see light and dark. Temperature maps warm against cool. Saturation finds where your color is muddy. Contrast shows your edges. Flip the canvas any time.

TOOLS
A full HSB color picker with hex input and your recent colors. Eyedropper, paint bucket flood fill, rectangle selection, transform to rotate and flip, crop, and undo. Import a photo and paint over it.
