The brush carries a charge of paint that depletes as you drag, picks up wet color already on the canvas, and responds to pressure and speed.

SIX MEDIUMS
Oil drags and blends. Watercolor goes translucent and blooms at the edges. Charcoal and pastel catch the grain of the paper. Ink stays crisp. Plus a basic medium for quick sketching.

BRUSHES AND PAPER
Over twenty brush tips across the six mediums. Nine paper textures the paint actually catches on: smooth, hot-press watercolor, cold-press watercolor, rough watercolor, canvas weave, toned tan, toned grey, kraft, and blueprint.

STUDY VIEWS
Four ways to read your own work while you paint. Value strips the canvas to grayscale so you can see light and dark. Temperature maps warm against cool. Saturation finds where your color is muddy. Contrast shows your edges. Flip the canvas any time.

TOOLS
A full HSB color picker with hex input and your recent colors. Eyedropper, paint bucket flood fill, rectangle selection, transform to rotate and flip, crop, and undo. Import a photo and paint over it.
