Access to Micromedex Drug Reference requires a password. Once you’ve downloaded the app, follow these instructions to obtain the password (which only needs to be entered once per year):

1. Login to Merative Micromedex through your online subscription.
2. Click on the “Mobile Application Access” link near the top of the application.
3. Refer to the detailed downloading instructions, which include your password for activating the mobile app at no charge.

Ratings and reviews

Works great - until you have to renew. As the 100ish comments concur, renewing is nigh impossible. You can pay (multiple times) but it keeps acting as if you haven't paid. The only way I can recommend this app is if you know you will only use this for less than one year. Anyone actually practicing in a healthcare field will eventually be disappointed.

Ever since this app changed from IBM micromedex to merative micromedex it is like it is hiding on my phone. I can't find it anywhere, yet every time I search the play store for it, it says it's installed. It isn't in my app list, or my settings, nowhere. I have to open it via the play store. I've never has this issue before with any other app. It's quite annoying.

Same issue everyone else seems to be having: when I go to open the app I receive the message "Unable to download content please check your device." I have restarted the app and my phone, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no success. Waste of space on my phone. Micromedex's other apps work just fine.
