I personally prefer the UI that is available before you create an account, allowing you to select specific jobs you can look into applying for (Logo design, proofreading). Another thing that I think would be nice is being able to reach out to the potential client instead of needing to "Buy Connect", or allow new users to have a certain amount to start with to get them used to the process and having the money to afford it.

Upwork has turned into a money-making machine for beginners. You create a profile, upload your resume, spend time building everything professionally — and then realize you can barely apply for jobs unless you constantly buy “Connects.” 100 Connects cost around $15, and many jobs require multiple Connects just to apply. There is absolutely no guarantee you will get hired, or even get viewed. So beginners end up trapped in an endless cycle of paying more and more just for the chance to compete.

Never keeps me logged in, can't apply for jobs with the allotted amount. They say they allow for applying. even did the paid prescription and it still was not beneficial.And it never leaves me logged in.So I don't get notifications. It's very hard to navigate connecting with others and finding opportunities even with the paid subscription.
