I recently got a new Android phone. Tried to verify on new phone no problem. Then when I get to the next step the two step verification code which I've had for years the error message appears. I am not the only person having this issue it seems. Only automated bot responses. It's a problem on your end and never had any issues with the app before. Losing work and really infuriating please fix the problem whatsapp!

I'm devestated. Since the last update, messages were not sending or being received. They got stuck and showed a clock icon for sometimes hours at a time. Decided to reinstall the app to try and fix it. My whatsapp constantly asked me to backup my chats, which I did, so had no qualms in doing so. However, the backups never actually happened, even though I did this multiple times. I've lost dozens of chats and photos from years passed, including the chat history with my deceased mother. Fix it

This app literally just does not work properly anymore, it hasn't for ages. I've tried so many things to try to fix it but nothing works. The camera and video recorder don't work at all. If you try to crop a photo from your gallery through it, it's just a black screen. It freezes a lot and messages come through late. My phone is less than a year old and works perfectly, it's definitely the app.

What's new

• You can now edit messages up to 15 minutes after sending. Long press a message and choose ‘Edit’ to get started.
• Group chats show the profile photos of their participants.
