Ratings and reviews

The app was super easy to use. Pairing your phone to a Bluetooth speaker and playing the game intro and having ambient audio really enhances the game. The timer is very convenient and has an easy pause feature. I found the scoring to not be the same as the chart in the rulebook so YMMV. That said, I definitely recommend adding the app to playing Exit The Game.

A nice idea, but poorly executed. The timer/music thing worked well, and added a level of suspense, however the introductory passage linked to our version of the game was incorrect (it was talking about an entirely different scenario and cast of characters to the ones featured in ours!). We were playing the "house of riddles" game, but the introduction was talking about a creepy castle encountered on holiday and the narration was pretty lacklustre even if the information had been correct.

The app opened with the tutorial for how to use the app then was just blank. No games, no catalog. Search feature did nothing. The app had a small red wi-fi symbol at the bottom of the page that was crossed out. Checked but nothing was wrong with my wi-fi on the device nor any permissions manager for the app. I just used my clock app stopwatch and a Spotify playlist for the game. The game was fun, though (even though they tried having us rip up pieces -- we made our own reusable pieces).
