Progress is slow, but that's the whole point. Genuinely optional ads and purchases; playing for free is feasible if you are patient. Extreme grind, but you always feel like you can make gradual progress. You definitely want to join a guild, but you'll need to be advanced enough to make consistent contributions. Community is supportive. You'll find you want to be letting this run mostly unattended on a PC emulator while you get on with other stuff; runs of less than a few hours are pointless.

The game itself is solid. It's a marathon style game so progression is slow but can be rewarding. There are definitely pay to progress faster mechanics and F2P players are largely neglected. TTG fumble every single major update including the most recent one, the devs + Fudds need a serious overhaul of how they ship updates as there is no way that this should be happening with the resources and player base available. Earn back the trust of your player base.

fun game, is as advertised. a bit slow moving once you get past the initial stages but still progresses well enough. 4 stars because in the most recent update devs decided we need to be punished if we use our phones for anything other than this game, taking away stages if we "resume." I don't know who's idea that was but I have one word for it: boo.
