Windy brings you all the world’s leading weather forecasting models: global ECMWF, GFS and ICON plus local NEMS, AROME, UKV, ICON EU and ICON-D2 (for Europe). Furthermore NAM and HRRR (for the USA) and ACCESS (for Australia).

Satellite & Doppler radar

Global satellite composite is created from NOAA, EUMETSAT, and Himawari. The image frequency is 5-15 minutes based on area. Doppler radar covers large parts of Europe, America, Asia, and Australia.

I won't buy it when it only works half the time. That rendering bug? The one that gives me outlines AND NO information. Don't buy until it works. Still not fixed. Hey, I used to make graphical web stuff in the late 90s, early 00s, can run rings around your devs. fix it. try a simple approach? update: simple approach doesn't include an add for yourself with no way out other than back.

It's become pay to use. Like all Weather apps now-a-days. Tells you what you need to know but I've uninstalled because of how little the free version offers. THERE IS ONLY ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION OPTION! this is ridiculous, I would've been fine to pay $5 a month but $46.99? Who is going to pay that and think "I'm getting a great deal" in this economy.

Make no mistake. A Great App! The handy notification panels make the awful satellite image widget redundant by remembering my overlay, location and zoom settings: something the standard app should do right out of the box. I am not the only complainant in that regard. Until then no five stars for you but I won't cancel my subscription out of sheer irk (yet).
