About this app

OBD Master Pro is an OBD2 car scanner and code reader for ELM327 adapters. Plug a Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or USB OBD2 adapter into your car, read fault codes, find out why the check engine light is on and watch live data on your phone.

This car scanner works with standard ELM327 and ELM329 class adapters, no proprietary dongle needed. It includes 1,304 connection profiles for 177 brands, plus a generic OBD2 / EOBD profile for any OBD2 compliant vehicle.

OBD2 scanner and code reader
• Read stored, pending and permanent trouble codes (DTC)
• Scan engine, ABS, airbag, gateway, cluster and other modules on supported cars
• Code descriptions from generic and brand databases, plus DTC search without connecting
• Clear codes and reset the check engine light or engine warning light, so the engine code reader also works as a reset tool
• Manufacturer codes and DTC Wizard; warning light guide and symptom checker

Live data and car diagnostics dashboard
• OBD2 sensors: RPM, speed, coolant temperature, load, throttle, intake air, MAF, MAP, fuel trims, O2 / lambda, battery voltage
• Brand data such as oil temperature, boost, DPF, gearbox or EV cell data when your car's profile has them
• OBD2 gauges on a custom dashboard (circular or digital), layout edit, live charts and O2 sensor screen

Adapter note
Results depend on your car, its modules and your adapter. Many cheap ELM327 clones only handle engine OBD2 and drop out on ABS or airbag. For multi-module car diagnostics and coding with this car scanner, use a genuine ELM327 class adapter. Bluetooth LE adapters connect from the BLE tab, classic ones from the Bluetooth tab.

Ratings and reviews

Unfortunately, I can't connect to my OBDII adaptor. But some other apps can. U either list workable adaptors or collect 1 stars 🌟 As the reply: I'm not buying adapters to guess. Making the user buy random adapters until one works is backwards.

I can't get this app to connect to either OBDlink MX+ or icar pro 2s. I've tried on two different devices and it gets stuck on initializing adapter every time. other apps connect to them just fine. frustrating since both of these are listed as highly compatible in the app. can't email support because that feature is locked behind a paywall.

it damaged my scanning device, wasn't able to connect with it properly and my device stopped working at all. Just before installing this app I was able to scan a vehicle with the other app without any issues. once I installed this and tried to connect al gone, device stopped working on any car, any other app as well, lights stops flashing.
