Ratings and reviews

I like the routing of this app, far superior than Waze or Google maps, in my opinion. However, TomTom appears to be really slow at updating road changes eg. Speed limits, road closures, roads where permits are required etc. it has got me into trouble on numerous occasions where it has asked me to enter roads that are for permit holders only.....really poor show. These do not appear to be an issue with Waze etc so I cannot understand why a paid service offers a poorer service than a free app

Good navigator, map very clear when driving, reliable speed camera warnings. There are 2 annoying bugs that you do not expect in a mature software like this: app does not start without internet connection (very bad in some situations), often when start navigation, automatic zoom does not work (you have to manually move the map and recenter).

The roads are no longer being displayed on maps so the App no longer works. Although I have The Netherlands, Belgium and the whole of France installed I get an error Destination not on the current map. The phone is a Pixel 10 pro with the latest updates. After years of often frustrating use of this unreliable app it's time to look for something better. (Edit: re-downloading maps doesn't get past 31%)
