meteoblue shows high precision weather forecasts combined with a beautiful, simple and easy to use design. Weather forecasts can be requested for any place on Earth easily and comfortably.

• Weather forecasts for any point on land or sea.
• Location search with more than 6 million locations: search for location name, postal code or coordinates or let the app find your current position with the GPS module.
• 3 different widgets that can be added right to your home screen.
• 7 days forecast: daily overview and detailed information for every single day with hourly or 3 hour values. Besides standard parameters like temperature, precipitation and wind information, unique features like predictability and rainSPOT give a better overview.
• Meteogram 5 days: temperature curve with pictograms, cloud layers in different altitudes and wind forecast.
• 14 days: trend forecast for minimum and maximum temperature as well as precipitation and precipitation probability.

Ratings and reviews

The main reason for me to pay for the full version was to use the 3x2 widget. Unfortunately, it doesn't update neither automatically nor with the refresh widget button. Otherwise, the forecast is relatively good compared to other apps and the locations list is very extensive. So, overal an OK app.

The last chance to meteograms feel like a step back. Previously, one could glide over all three of them at one view, pick the desired one and optionally zoom in. Now, the default view is only one, with the image zoomed to the screen height instead of width, which makes you see only less than a half of the meteogram.

"High precision"... I can see 3m due to fog & app shows "all fine". Temperature shows 6°C(!!) more on map than forecast of my location & 11°C more when I type my town. Current temp. & hourly forecast not even same. Constantly wrong forecasts even 1 hr ahead: thunderstorms, rain never come & v. v. Doesn't warn of fog, humidity, etc. Water temp. can't be told by the colors on map (I complained about colors years ago), when I zoom in & hold to see the temp. it shows same one for different shades.
