Ratings and reviews

First everything was good despite some pretty big glitches here and there but since about two weeks ago the app has now completely stopped functioning. Every time i open the app, a blank white screen with an 'x' at the top left corner shows up and when i press it, a banner with the text "are you sure you want to dismiss? You have unsaved changes.", along with two buttons; 'cancel' and 'dismiss' appears. Dismiss just kicks me out of the app and cancel takes me back to the white screen.

Awful mobile responsiveness. Squarespace designed responsiveness to break up words extremely unnaturally. Imagine your first split-second customer impression being botched by a few trailing letters on the headline of the homepage. Why? It's not that you can't spell or didn't test the site on multiple devices as well as the native desktop/mobile toggle. No, it's that Squarespace developers thought it was a good idea to break up words letter by letter, and one device slipped past your tests.

Very shady business practices. As a new member and someone new to site design, I chose a template but wasn't pleased with it after 2 days. I subscribed monthly but found out you have to cancel and start from scratch to switch templates, and they don't provide a prorated refund. I didn't want to go through the self-build process again due to being new to design. I simply wanted to choose another template. Originally 4 stars, now 1 star.
