Neutron Player is an advanced music player with an audiophile-grade platform-independent in-house developed Neutron HiFi™ 32/64-bit audio engine which does not rely on the OS music player API and thus delivers truly unique experience to you.

* It outputs hi-res audio directly to the internal DAC (including USB DAC) and offers a rich set of DSP effects.

* It is the only application capable of sending audio data to the network renderers (UPnP/DLNA, Chromecast) with all DSP effects applied, including the gapless playback.

* It features a unique PCM to DSD real-time conversion mode (if supported by DAC), so you can play your favorite music in DSD resolution.

Simply the BEST possible player, truly an audiophile app, it has really, really a lot of advanced settings, which was easy for me to configure all of them, one of the best features is the UPNP/DLNA server, simply turn it on and listen in other devices, I always dreamed about such a feature so thank you very much! I love the Master Meter, a very important feature too. I just wonder what's the difference between this free and the paid version

Missing basic features like buttons to skip/back 5s, 30s (like in my old "Music Folder Player" app). You have to use slider which is cumbersome / not precise. To switch between basic screens you have to reach top right small button which is tiresome (swiping changes songs). Scrolling a list of songs stutters even at 100Hz set. Does not recognize side-car jpg indiv. song art. Does not allow to set sorting by file date globally by default. Overall: a user experience nightmare.
