Neutron Player is an advanced music player with an audiophile-grade platform-independent in-house developed 32/64-bit audio engine which does not rely on the OS music player API and thus delivers truly unique experience to you.

Absolutely the best music player ever, period! PS: It's been more than a week since Neutron stop recognizing lots of my music. Now half of my albums are missing from the player. I had to download another player to listen to my music. I tried everything (empty the library, re scanning again, etc) with the same results. Is frustrating, since i've been using this app for 10 years just because it used to be the very best. Hope someone help me with this issue...

Amazing app. Interface could be a little better but the sound quality when configured properly is noticeably better than other music player apps. Would rate 5 stars if the list scrolling was better, it's very resistant to flicks and sometimes fails to scroll like it gets "caught" on something. No improvements when playing with the damping setting.

I've been using this app for years with no problems. Now, after the unneeded update, it "doesn't see my files". I don't understand the predilection with "fixing what isn't broken". It now is certainly broken. Please undo/fix the oversteps. In the meantime, I'm installing a backup player. Edited 10-29-23 to add, I'm using Neutron again. The latest iteration is working flawlessly. The preceding music player eventually became unusable. I deleted it before reinstalling Neutron. Auto-update is off.
