Neutron Audio Recorder is a high-resolution audio recorder for mobile devices and PCs, powered by a 32/64-bit, OS and platform independent Neutron HiFi audio engine that bypasses standard OS audio limitations. Enjoy bit-perfect recording through USB ADCs and external audio interfaces, with a full DSP suite that can be applied to the recording itself or to playback only. Save to internal, external, or network storage in lossless or compressed formats (WAV, FLAC, OGG/Vorbis, Speex, MP3).

Ratings and reviews

I tried this out after reading a few reviews. It's true that it's feature-packed and very professional, but the huge problem for me was that I couldn't find or access my recordings. The free version won't allow you to transfer your files to Google Drive and they are totally unfindable on your device. It's sad really, sorry since it's a great recorder, but that's no use to me if I can't find or use my recordings.

What a great app for recording voice audio with high audio quality. Unfortunately, sharing the audio files to my Google drive was impossible. Even after following all of the instructions and creating a new file path, uploads would still fail. If the sharing process gets simplified this would easily be a 5 star app.

This app is the worst possible I went to record something important and not only did it stop recording automatically at 5 minutes (missing the key element I needed to record but when played back it was grainy and broken up so bad that what was being said couldn't really be understood. I almost broke my phone.
