Ratings and reviews

The app is still effective, but the pricing structure at Plex has changed a lot. I can no longer recommend it. Dave screwed with their customer base just way too many times. Those of us who managed to get locked in ahead of time, we're gonna be fine, at least for now, but if you're looking to get into Plex, maybe don't. Maybe find one of the alternatives.

I've been pretty happy with Plex overall over the years (lifetime subscription). I'm very disappointed in the new update/layout of Plex done in 2025. I really dislike that I now have to have an additional two separate apps for photos and music now, so three Plex apps total. No way to add movies to a playlist. Definitely a big step backwards in my opinion.

LEARN TO KEEP TRACK OF YOUR MOVIES!!!!!! so I've downloaded this app to literally watch specifically one film and to see if downloading it would have been better than being on the website neither of which are true!!! I've tried for about 6 hours to watch the same 1 our movie and I am physically unable to. after watching an eighth of this movie the app closes and the movie goes back to the beginning and you physically are unable to watch the movie!!!!
