Ratings and reviews

This would be a good app but the sounds aren't played enough. Should have the option to always hear the sounds of words, and to also be able to play them at will during exercises. When learning a very different language like Cantonese, the sounds are very difficult. It seems to expect to to remember after only a few times heading them, which is completely unrealistic.

The team responded quickly. thank you 🩷 *initial review* While I do like Ling app, lately, since the last update, the app has been telling me I lost my streak like every day... even though I'm on day 35 I think, it also told me it used my streak saver twice when it shouldn't have... I did my lessons yesterday and today I log back in and it says 0 for the number of days I've been learning... could you please fix the issue? 🩷

using paid version. I have finished the beginner section of Latvian and my husband (native speaker) says the recordings actually sound like native speakers unlike an app I was using before. Once in a while they choose an odd word that apparently isn't common, but it's not bad. My big disappointment with the app is that the first two sections had grammar lessons (which sold me on pro), but none of the rest do. Kind of a bait and switch for a language so grammar-dependent.
