This App just no longer works, keeps disconnecting when using apps, while browsing. I have missed important messages from loved ones in the hospital. unreliable app and support. they think all you have to do with your life is wait for an email reply from them. can't even call for service and it's 2026. stay away and save your money. Bears helping me? give me a break.

Effects are fun and I value the free version, but it is inconsistent. I thought that was because it was a free version. However, even with subscription it is continually detected and thereby cannot be relied on to work, when other VPNs do not have this issue of being regularly ineffective. It's unfortunate, because I liked the uniqueness and being easy to use, during the time it actually did what was needed.

For years you could connect to every country on the free plan, this was tunnelbears main charm point. Now, with the latest update, you can ONLY connect to other countries by subscribing to a 13 dollar a month subscription. Tunnelbear is already slow and unreliable, and now it's just lost the one good part of using it. There is no reason to use it over any other VPN anymore. It's been fun, Tunnelbear, but I'm out.
