Ratings and reviews

The messenger part of the app always says that it's "waiting for connection" and it's incredibly slow, even on the Lite version. I've been trying to respond messages for the last 10 minutes and it keeps saying it's waiting for connection, so none of my messages will go through (even though my internet is working well). The rest of the app is okay.

My experience on this app has been less than expected. There're a lot of scammers on there. Many of the jobs I applies for, I ended up reporting, or the system detected the scam and returned my coins for the position. It's absolutely ridiculous. Maybe they should charge the companies to find workers and let them search for employees based on their profile and experience. This way does not seem to be working...at least not for me. Be forewarned.

My skills aren't needed? I am a freelance content writer, and found upwork because of all the ads posted looking for writers. However, they won't accept my profile. The reason given is that my skills aren't needed. I beg to differ as 90% of the job postings are in search of content writers. I've resubmitted my profile multiple times, and have been declined on every occasion. I am very unhappy with my experience with Upwork.
