It beats cutting down trees but it has issues. Issues they never fix! I don't know how they can make money if it's hardly possible to buy a book! Every time i try i get "something went wrong, check your internet connection". It's a joke! If i didn't have internet i wouldn't be able to write this review. If I didn't hate Amazon i wouldn't bother with this junk. To add insult to injury they only offer support via facebook or twitter!

Solid experience with all the features I need, including good selection of books, and synchronization across devices. But if i had to pick on something, I'd say the store part feels a tiny bit sluggish. I get that it takes time to pull online content, but there are ways to improve it. For example, the loading bar at the top doesn't spark confidence. It sometimes runs through multiple times, making it appear like the app doesn't really know what it's supposed to download.

Used to be a great app. Since the last update though, it's very hard to use. The links for footnotes no longer appear to work. When you open a book, it automatically turns the screen brightness up to maximum, which makes it almost impossible to look at because it's so bright. You can't turn the brightness down either because it somehow overrides the phone settings. None of the settings seem to allow you to change any of this and re-installing it didn't do anything.
