I'm editing my review after contacting the help team. A great app which I use every day to read my bible notes. My previous frustration and low rating was linked to not being able to close the app easily after finishing reading but after contacting the help team, I now know it is a simple tap in the centre of the screen. Thanks for the help, I'll continue using this great reader.

Ads are too distracting! I used this app for years but recently the advertising splash screens are way too much. The brightness feature is now broken too. Also, the first page of each chapter for some of my books doesn't display the text (guess it renders it as white?).. I can highlight and copy/paste it. But still, super annoying! Going to swap to a different app after using aldiko for years.

An update has removed the Classic version to this one. It's rubbish. When using on a pad all the text is in a small column down the middle of the screen. The only way to expand it to fill the screen is to keep enlarging the text until it fills the screen. This app has certainly gone backwards. With be uninstalling from my devices.
