I used to listen to music over Android Auto. Since the last version of this app (v4.31.1740 (01.07.2026)), the player just stops playing after a few songs. I cannot even resume it, since it only shows "Getting your selection..." and then "Could not load your selection" with "Back to browse" and then I must browse again while driving. I guess it has something to do with the upgrade to API 37.

Awesome music app! I've been so frustrated with the default ones that android phones come with. This app lets me edit everything. Album, artist and even genre thumbnails, all the info, even add lyrics. For once my music is organised. Took me a little while to figure out how everything works, but it was well worth the effort. And if all that isn't enough - you can also modify the sound quality with EQ, as well as playback speed. I learn by ear a lot - it's great for that. No ads too. Very happy.

My only disappointment is the album art. When using Bliss 2021 skin, it is cropped. This makes me sad, as I would like an option to see the whole cover of an album, even if it means adding black bars on the top and bottom. In the past it wasn't so. Nevertheless, I'm using it on desktop and android for the past 3-4 years. This is the best player out there.
