Ratings and reviews

An unacceptably poor user experience. I only use this app as it is the only option for accessing my Roon library on the go. UI is awful, Roon just needs to copy the UI from the remote app and it would be 10x better already. Downloads barely work, you can't even access them properly while offline (this should be the bare minimum, seriously...). This app has a long way to go, sunk cost into the roon ecosystem is the only reason I put up with this atrocity of an app.

Arc is truly the weakest part of the roon system. No feature parity, finding your music is anything but seamless (using bookmarks in roon? Tough luck!). Want to check what's happening to the other zones? No dice. I don't understand why one would not just have a single app for home and on the go. The additional effort to maintain arc must be paralyzing.

Never works. PlexAmp just works outside my house with no settings adjusted on my router. I followed the instructions for setting up port forwarding and Roon Arc still doesn't work. Moreover, Roon, after years of existing has still not implemented easy error reporting. You have to copy the error information and go into their forums to get a fix. It's a terrible experience.
