Requirements:
Use high-quality printed sheet music & take photos under good enough light, when scanning from your camera, for optimal results. For scanning from a file, the recommended resolution is 300 DPI in greyscale or 8-12 MPx per page.

Limitations:
• Reads printed sheet music score, not handwritten or mimicking handwriting, tablatures, etc.
• Reads standard oval note heads only, no special symbols like shape notes.
• The following symbols are not currently supported: codas, percussion notation, dynamics, double sharps, double flats & grace notes.
• Some older prints & unusual fonts may not be recognizable.

Ratings and reviews

Does a pretty good job taking a pdf and exporting musicxml as far as notes and rhythms. Don't know if it should be able to get articulation or volume changes, but it doesn't seem to. It's not too hard to correct that after the fact, though, with the right tools.

Incredible app. It has saved me COUNTLESS hours rewriting charts in order to transpose for students. Suggestions for future features: -selectable part play back (choosing 2+ parts for playback rather than 1 or all. useful for playing back a 2 stave piano part from a conductor score) -playback sound selection for each part -library organisation and folders -song tags (for searching later)

where is the swing function? the subscription version of the app has a swing function but this one time payment does not. I'm not gonna get a subscription to swing lol. maybe I'm just dumb and can't find it but I don't seem to have an option to switch to swing.
