Ratings and reviews

This is a game designed to take your money. It's got a great art style, interesting characters with a wide range of skills etc, and regularly gives you Resources and materials etc. But after a while, it gets harder to progress without paying money. Upgrading characters gets harder, getting rarer drops gets harder, difficulty gets harder. Many challenges are locked behind paywalls. It's such a shame a great game is so money-hungry. You can play free but it is grindy.

I really enjoyed the first few chapters of the campaign and love the aesthetic, but the progression of your characters slows down to less than a crawl. You can't even purchase the items you require to upgrade them. Which means you can't progress further in the story missions and you're stuck at a certain level when playing others parts of the game. The progression curve is clearly it's weakest point and what is ultimately making me want to quit. Such a shame as this game has a lot of promises.

So far seems a good game. Some QOL updates I'd like to see to get a 5 star would be when pressing on a characters ability a pop up would show explaining what that ability does. The same for items as there's been a few occasions where I have had the chance to use an item to clear some debris or another challenge and I haven't known which item is which until you get out of combat. Solid game overall.
