Ratings and reviews

Recipes are great but recipe cards often go missing from the delivery and when accessing the recipe from the app, quantities are no longer displayed. Not sure why this was removed as it used to be shown. As this means customer service needs to be contacted in order to obtain a digital version of the full recipe card with quantities.

The app is very difficult to use. It doesn't respond to tapping and/or scrolling. Also, you see more promotions (buy more!) than things that are actually helpful and clear to the user. The 'contact us' section is about as minimal as it gets. The chat-bot only responds to preselected prompts, the links offered (to find the information yourself) lead to dead-ends, and even when you force your way through to speaking to a person, the people are unapologetically disengaged.

Very disappointing experience with HelloFresh. A payment was taken even though I did not check out or place an order. The order was later cancelled, so no delivery or service was provided. Despite this, they refused to refund my money to my original payment method and insisted on giving account credit instead. I clearly declined this. I am now having to escalate through PayPal just to get my money back. Not acceptable.
