Oojao Image Editor is a powerful and free photo editor designed for Android. It supports cool effects, multiple projects/tabs and layers.

This app is ad-supported to keep it free, but ads are not annoying and can be quickly closed or temporarily turned off in Settings. And there are no ads while editing!

You can do all the usual canvas or free layer manipulation such as resize, crop, drawing, erase, draw shapes, bucket fill, select, copy, paste, delete, move, align, rotate, flip and more.

Adjust brightness, contrast and saturation with filters or apply effects such as sharpen, blur, bump, shadow and many more. Undo and redo are available, and you can also save a set of actions and presets to re-apply them later.

Save your work with layers so you can continue editing later.

Without doubt the best image editing app for android. The UI isn't the best but once you get used to it and learn what everything does/where everything is, you'll see it's more powerful than anything else on the app store. I sometimes find myself picking fault with it (wishing for more features or better functionality) but you know what, if you want the desktop photoshop experience, use desktop photoshop! Also, add frequency is amazing! (I get just 1 instant close add each time I use it)

This is a superb app, well thought out and with loads of functionalty not found in other apps. Only reason I gave it 3 stars is because when working with 2 or more layers it can't always save by using the "save" dialogue - it simply bypasses this and saves a pic straight into the gallery. But then you can't choose the format or resolution of your work. Will purchase the app when this is corrected.

The best editor for what I wanna use it for, but I've noticed weird issues. Don't know if this is an android issue, but trying to open files tends to result in no files showing whatsoever until I try a few times. Another is that on reopen it will forcibly hide all layers (it doesn't say they're hidden but they can't be seen), and trying to reopen gives me a Permission Denial message for "ACTION_OPEN_DOCUMENT". Don't know if these are issues on my end or not but I can't seem to fix them myself.
