It's OK and great that it's free and open source but the interface needs a lot of work. For a start, you can't preview the film looks "live". You have to select each one from a long list via a tiny preview thumbnail of a cat's head and then apply it. Nor can you zoom your photo once a film look is applied, so you have to judge its effect from a tiny version of your whole image before deciding to save or undo. Also no way to quickly toggle preview/original to evaluate the proposed changes.

I totally agree with you on the UI improvements specially the previews.
Im trying to figure the best way to do it without causing performance issues but it’s in progress.
You can also toggle the filters from the eye icon on the top right :)
EDIT: Image preview is now available :)

Great app. Does exactly what I've been looking for with zero fuss. Couple of things I would like seeing addressed, there doesn't seem to be Kodak Gold and Ultramax? Secondly, the film names are cut off when trying to select what to use, making it impossible to read what the different film versions are. Other than those. Great app and easy to use.

The new update (preview) is awesome, but sometimes the preview hasn't loaded correctly (at least at the first time), but otherwise I like it a lot. Another thing I've found is that the app crashes when I download LUTs. 15/5/26 - the new updates are very useful, and no more LUT problem. Works smoothly, very nice results. The only minor issue - the grain looks too digital to me. I prefer not to use it (the app is very useful even w/o it).

Glad you liked the app, the thumbnails flickering issue is now fixed in the new update.
Will try to find out the issue with downloading the LUTs.

• Film-grade grain for exports — multi-octave noise that actually looks like 35mm grain, not digital speckle
• LUT Intensity now goes up to 200% so you can push subtle film stocks harder
• Smoother Contrast and Shadows sliders — finer control, less heavy-handed at small values
• Real progress bar during export instead of a spinner that looked frozen on big files
