Because the Upwork app didn't notify me, I have lost two prospects for not responding on time. Getting clients to respond to your proposal has been hard and on two separate occasions where they did, Upwork sent no notification. The first time I knew later through my email the second time, nothing. I checked Upwork app just to see I had been sent a message two days ago. This is not fair!!!!!! The app always has one issue with Android I have checked all the notification settings. It is on!

It's a pretty good platform overall but the user interface needs a big change. It's pretty uncomfortable and weird to use and search things up. Also the whole connects system is pretty dump. It would kinda make sense if you would get the connects back when you don't get hired but still there is no way you make enough profit working like that. You literally spend all your profit to pay for connects, vat, payment transactions and platform's share. Only the gigs part of the platform is sustainable.

Even though I decided to close my freelancing account due to my current lack of experience, I am incredibly impressed by Upwork's support team. Their privacy and customer service teams are highly professional, polite, and very quick to assist with account management and data requests. It is a very trustworthy platform with excellent service!
