I am now editing my review, can't do anything without the constant, pop-up for membership, it almost tricked me into, paying $19 because I was in the middle of typing, and right when I was hitting enter, it hit the pay now button, that is so scummy

This is so great!! I only came across this after I found my Roku remote in my washing machine 😳 It's so easy to set up, i just opened the app and it did everything for me! I can't wait to use it this evening. I don't buy extras on apps but for the same price as a new remote (actually less), I might even buy the extra for the keyboard as that would make it even more easier to use. If I knew about this app before, I would of got it even when I had the remote. Less remotes around the house.

Coming from iOS where I paid a one time fee to unlock all features, it’s disappointing to see a predatory subscription model on Android. For the yearly cost of this app, I could simply buy a physical remote. I was fully prepared to purchase the Pro version again, but I’ve moved to a FOSS alternative and donated to that dev instead. I’d happily pay for this app again if it were a one time purchase, but renting a remote app is a dealbreaker. Just to be fair, it's a sub on IOS now smh.
